Haystack Mountain School of Crafts is an international craft school offering intensive studio-based workshops in a variety of craft media.
Based on the school's need for its seasonal students, staff, and faculty to be able to organize shared rides to and from the remote campus, I created a web-based system to provide this service. Users post ride information through the website and manage their posting through email. The ride locations are plotted on a reference map of the United States using the Google Maps API and a custom-built database of US city and state lattitude/longtitude coordinates. The system includes anti-spam and other privacy features.
