World’s Ugliest PC
I needed to hide a linux server inside a pedestal for a piece of sculpture that I’m working on. Bandsaw and drywall screws, it’s ugly but exactly what I needed.
I had this old Dell lying around so I took the extra PCI daughterboard out, removed the floppy and CD drives, cut it in half with a bandsaw and stuck it back together in a pile. It’s kind of like a NeXTcube, but crappy.

Hi, I am interested in Electronic drum kits, and the interfacing to a PC so i can play (my kids want to learn). I play drums and bass, but know NOTHING about MIDI. any hints or links you can suggest.
PS. the dumbkit….cool. wish i had your knowledge!
